EFL Habu 32x DF



Remove the control horns from the rudder. Apply

low-tack tape around the slot for the control horn.

Position the tape so it is 1/32-inch (1mm) away from

the sides of the slot, as well as from the marks made

in the previous step.

Togliere la squadretta dal timone. Mettere del nastro a

bassa aderenza intorno alla fessura per la squadretta.

Posizionare il nastro a circa 1mm dai bordi e dai segni

fatti nel passaggio precedente.



Use 5-minute epoxy to glue the control horn into the slot for the elevator. Use a square to make sure the control horn

is perpendicular to the control surface. Also check again to make sure the hole in the control horn is directly over the

hinge line. After around 3 minutes, before the epoxy cures, carefully remove the tape from around the control horn.

Pull the tape away from the horn, being careful not to disturb the position of the control horn. This will allow the epoxy

to ﬂ ow out slightly, leaving a ﬁ llet between the control horn and control surface.

Collez le guignol en position dans la rainure de la gouverne à l’aide de colle Epoxy 5 minutes. Utilisez une équerre pour

vous assurer que le guignol est bien perpendiculaire à la gouverne. Re-contrôlez également l’alignement du trou du

guignol par rapport à l’axe des charnières. Après environ 3 minutes, avant la ﬁ n du séchage de la colle époxy, retirez

délicatement l’adhésif de masquage qui entoure le guignol. Tirez l’adhésif en vous éloignant du guignol, prenez soin de

ne pas bouger le guignol. Cela permet de réaliser un cordon de collage entre le guignol et la surface de la gouverne.

Per incollare la squadretta del timone, usare colla epoxy 5 minuti. Usare una squadra per veriﬁ care che la squadretta

sia perpendicolare alla superﬁ cie di controllo. Veriﬁ care ancora che il foro della squadretta sia direttamente sopra

alla linea di cerniera. Dopo circa 3 minuti, prima che la colla epoxy indurisca, togliere il nastro dai bordi delle fessure,

facendo attenzione a non modiﬁ care la posizione delle squadrette. Questo permette alla colla epoxy di deﬂ uire

leggermente, lasciando un raccordo tra la squadretta e la superﬁ cie di controllo.



OIL

Apply a small amount of oil to the ﬂ ex point of the hinge

to prevent epoxy from entering the hinge.
